WEDNESDAY 16th April
East Bridgford Kneeton 5.4 miles
I managed to get to the start of the walk only to find that I had forgotten to bring a coat of any kind, as it was a relatively cold day I returned home to get one. On returning, I made my way down to the river and then along towards Gunthorpe bridge and then back up the lane to East Bridgeford. I only met up with the group, as I was driving home.

Clarborough and North Wheatley 8 miles
Tony led this walk and reported as follows: Ten members took part on this walk on a nice dry, /sunny day but had to contend with a very strong breeze. No Stiles, no mud- we started our walk along the Chesterfield canal on the Cuckoo Way towards path up to bridge 66. The walk then started to gradually go up hill and over to North Wheatley. Had dinner stop at the village church, then walked tracks and byways back to Clarborough. West Burton power station was a back drop to this part of our route.

SUNDAY 20th April
Collingham 6.5 miles.
A leisurely Sunday walk from the centre of Collingham. Chris led this anti- clockwise circular route which skirted two nature reserves and included a stretch along the River Trent.
