WEDNESDAY 10th September
A jolly going up through Combs Wood Farnsfield 5 Miles
Lisa led a group of us on a lovely walk from Farnsfield, up to Combe Wood and then back down to the village. There were some great views, and diverse countryside to enjoy. One the way back we stopped for a break at Halifax Bomber memorial, that commemorates the loss of seven young airman in a plane crash in 1944.
As always an interesting walk in lovely company.

Izzie led this good paced walk along the Lincoln Ridge. There were good surfaces but uneven at times, plenty of views and interesting houses. Plenty of sloes to flavour your gin. Fortunately, no stiles or nettles. The route visited Wellingore Boothby Graffoe and Navenby
